Hi all,

Thanks for all your replies.
I will install C75 when I come to the 160m/RX option later on.
Michael, N2ZDB, supplied me with a letter from Gary with additional 
information on the VCO alignment. It became clear that this info was the 
key to the solution.
After removal of C70 the VCO voltage reading on 7300 was 7.52 Volt. After 
adjusting this voltage to 7.39, all values were in between 2.39 and 7.39 Volt.
Again, thank you all for your help. This project is fun to build and it is 
my experience that you learn a lot about the ins and outs of the K2 along 
the process.
Page 60 now and on with the measurements.
