[Elecraft] To PLL mod or not

And the answer is, mod the PLL. FWIW I decided that making conclusions
about VFO vs BFO drift, as a function of the audio pitch, a bit
troublesome. So I used a frequency counter. In my case the BFO is very
stable from a cold start, to full warm up in, about one hour. In my
shack, basement, ambient temp is 65-67 Deg. F. after 1 hour the
internal temp of my K2 rises to about 80 Feg. F. Over that temp range
my BFO only changes about 0.1 Hz! The VFO changed about 80Hz. On the
plus side, once warmed up (about 30min) the VFO was very stable.
Thanks all for you help and suggestions.
