A few have pointed out (privately) the reason I could hear the contact and
the 'boomer' couldn't is likely due to takeoff angles resulting from the
differences in my antenna height (low) and the boomers antenna height
(high)...
Of course that is the *rational* explanation but I still prefer to think of
it as my K2's 'MoJo' working ;)
As someone said, it's still fun to beat out the 'big guys' no matter what
the reason.
