If anyone is serious about the Hakko 808, I believe that www.tequipment.net
still has the best price on the net. $175 now, I think. I bit the bullet a
while back and have not been sorry. As Tom once said, if you plan on much
bench time in the future, the investment will pay you back many fold.
They have good buys on other things, as well including the Hakko solder
stations, but I have not tried any of those.
