[Elecraft] "The Knob"

Pete, your comments make me wonder....(don't laugh at this folks)

How would the elastic band on a lobster claw work?  They are fairly wide.
Might be tight to get on the knob but if they can be stretched enough to get
them on, might work.

Fellow Crafters;

I currently have a BIG rubber band wrapped around "The Knob" on my
K2.  It's soft, my tuning finger hangs on to it. It works.
The final version of this mod will be the "Produce Dept. Rubber Band K2
Knob Mod"  ..  or the "PDRB Mod.  I'm looking for one of those really small
diameter  super wide, generally blue in color (at least locally) rubber
bands that are found wrapped around broccli or the like.  Icom uses a
custom version of this on their 751A  tunning knob.

Anyone got a source for these odd shaped rubber bands ?
