I would like to thank all of the fine folks who have provided information
and well wishes to me for the STS-113 Special Event. As it stands, I had
not received the go-ahead to operate prior to my flight leaving OH on
Friday so, unless the KSC ARC has a rig+battery that I can use (I'll find
out tomorrow) I won't be on the air.

I am sorry to have gotten anyones (expecially my own) hopes up only to
disappoint you.

It would have been a very neat occation. The last launch the season, at
night, on Veterans Day. I also thought it would be a neat way to put my
current callsign to bed. I am soon to be known as K4WTF. Any of you
former military types will understand the new callsign. ;-O
