It is now not uncommon for an "R" to be inserted by manufacturers into 
their component value nomenclature in place of a DECIMAL POINT. So, 2R7 = 
2.7pF.

Sometimes you will also see resistors (and schematics) labeled as 2K7, in 
which the "K" is the THOUSANDS indicator, or 2K7 = 2.7K = 2700 Ohms.
