Earl,

Perhaps if you stopped explaining it, it would go away.  You're entitled
to your opinion.  So is everyone else.  You have to accept some ribbing on
your soldering certification though.  You post about it as if it were a a
Congressional Metal of Honor.  I have soldering certifications too.  I
even taught the course when I was in the Corps.  We weren't talking about
a failure caused by a bad soldering joint though.  You stated that you
felt the mods that you have made detract from the appearance of your
K2.  Others have stated that they don't feel the same.

Resorting to name calling does absolutely nothing to lend credence to your
arguement.  I am asking you as a fellow soldering certification holder,
PLEASE, let it drop.  Every other individual is just as entitled to their
opinion as you are and you do not have to reply to every comment made in
the thread, especially if your reply includes derogatory comments that
will do nothing but fuel add fuel to a potential flamewar. 

I am sure that this was but a temporary lapse in judgement.
