Hi again

About moding a k2 or anything for that matter. Let me digress a few years.
I rather imagine a lot of us will remember back to the 50's, when teens would
have a car. How many of you remember that is was a lot easier to just leave the
hood off to make it easier to make changes, like pulling the engine for what
ever the reason of the moment was. Most of those cars didn't need much in
the way of oil to loosen the bolts holding them together. I remember changing
an engine two or three times a week for one reason or another.

Not much difference these days just different toys. I expect though on our K2's
leaving the hood off might generate some unwanted results around the house.

Along this same subject, I have always been a little restless in my ham
journey, once I get a station working and prove it with a few contacts it seems
that I need to make a change just to get some variation going. The K2 answers
that craving just fine for me. So I am looking forward to finding out just
what is under the hood of my new to me K2 and get the pocket book out to be
ready to order what mods I need. First though I want to get some exerience
with the new toy to find out what I want to change, after all maybe I like what
I hear.

I have just found out I like listening to code with a chirp in it. G4FON has
a cw trainer you can interject with chirp, I like it. Weird I know.
