[Elecraft] New Mod kit

HI 

I am a new owner of a previously built K2 twice removed. Since I have been
looking at the manuals that came with it and don't see any mod manuals or 
additions to existing manuals, I guess the only way to see if my K2 has any 
mods would be to open it up. 
Another question, my K2 came with the SSB option, is there a way to see how the
mic socket is wired. I suppose this also is "open it up".
I guess the only thing left is to "open it up", it might be educational at that.

I guess my question is, does Elecraft keep a data base of mods in what rigs, but
that would mean the person doing the mod informed the data keeper. 

Never mind. I have been the keeper of data before and know full well how hard
it is to keep it up to date.

OH well, I am really liking what I have so far. I am thinking of just getting 
the mod kit and go for it. First I guess I need to see if I need or want all 
of the mods, guess it might increase the value at that.
