I did the 2nd xtal filter mod because LSB and USB were so askew that I
felt it was necessary.  I guess Elecraft also felt that way, because Rev
B includes it.

I did the audio pot mod because it also was necessary to clean up that
problem.  Elecraft must agree, because that mod is now part of Rev B.

I did the sidetone source mod because I wanted sidetone as well as an
operational I/O interface that was included in my KPA100 kit.

I'm happy with the increase in performance of my K2 after the mods, but
I'm not happy with the degraded appearance of my handiwork the mods
created.  Most agree and some disagree with my opinion.  As I said
before, "To each his own."

BTW, this post went to the reflector because W8UR apparently wanted it
that way.  I apologize.
