This get's better and better. ;-)
I did a number of the popular mods over the years, and just ordered the
BFO mods and matched XTAL set for my K2. Sounds like this Rev B
"updater" and the parts to support it will be out just in time to make
excellent stuffing stuffers for the XMAS.
For those who may be concerned about the "look"--FEAR NOT. Cuts,
jumpers, as used in the audio pot mod, parts added to the bottom across
pads.... These are stock and trade the electronics industry. It is even
done to commercial grade aircraft radios and military equipment--the key
is the craftsmanship of how it is done. With the instructions, and parts
from Elecraft and a little patients you will be proud to show off your
handiwork.
