Only transistor number 1 sounds good but I would always check both 
junctions of the transistor in both directions to make certain it is good. 
In the wrong direction you should see no continuity between the B-E and B-C 
junctions and typically .6 or .7 volt drop in the other direction for the 
two junctions.
