[Elecraft] Possible STS-113 Launch Special Event Station

I just got confirmation that I will be able to get onsite at Kennedy Space
Center for the scheduled launch of the Shuttle Endeavour STS-113 11NOV2002
from 0500GMT - 0900GMT.

I'm still working out the particulars but, I hope to be able to operate my
K2/100 + KAT100 from the launch viewing site.  I was told connecting to
the launch platform and tuning it up was a definate no however. <grin>

Does anyone have any recommendations on what band would be best to operate
in for this event?  I have never operated HF from the coast of Florida
before.

I'll be using an MP1 portable antenna.  Any advise here?

Wish me luck getting security clearance for the K2/tuner/antenna package
to the launch viewing site!
