Congratulations Jacques!

I built SN 1289 two years ago at age 62. Gee, compared to you I'm very
much a Novice.

I've always run either scratch built or kit-built rigs in the shack, and
when I wanted to move "up" to a state-of-the-art HF rig a few years ago
I was almost resigned to buying my very first factory-built rig when I
was introduced to Elecraft - just in time more me too!

Keep building and operating and reminding me that I'm only a punk kid
for many years to come, please!

Hi everyone
When I started building my K2, I was just past 76 and thought I could be
among the oldest kit builders, . When I read in the reflector that a
gentleman aged 94 had built one , I took off my hat and felt rather
modest ! I am assembling now the KPA 100, and I hope it will be
completed end of this month..and I'll be 79. I built my first kit 50
years ago : it was a BCR for my Mum . and since I must have made quite
a few, among them, an unforgettable SB 102. Heathkit has gone, Elecraft
came along ...just in time for me ! Best 73 to all . Jacques F9OJ K2 #
