[Elecraft] Question re: sinewave sidetone modification

Greetings, all.

I have a question about the WJ4P sinewave sidetone mod. The first part of 
the mod says to add a pull-up resistor to one side of C24. In the K2 manual 
(Revision C) the schematic shows there is a pull-up consisting of RP7 (pins 
7 and 8) to 5A. Is an additional 47k resistor required or only the 
inductor? The LA3ZA list of mods and the WJ4P page that provides details on 
the mod don't make it clear what serial numbers either require or could 
benefit from making this mod.
