Two things to keep in mind with regard to the Cal Cur discussion:
1. The K2 will draw more current if the input voltage is low.
2. That your indication of power is accurate, particularly if you have the=
=20
KAT2 installed with its adjustable wattmeter. If that calibration is=20
questionable, your presumed 5 or 10 watts might actually be 7 or 14, like=20
mine was when I got the radio on a real bench :)
