[Elecraft] K2/100 + KSB2 + MH2 questions

OK.  For those of you who have been following the strange problems I've
been having with K2/100 #2490, I have good news and bad news.

The good news is that I have isolated BOTH of the problems I had reported.

The BAD news is that it appears to be a "John - KC4KGU" issue.

The problem with the K2/100 being able to do QRP or QRO but not BOTH was
finally traced to a bad solder joint on RP1 pin-1.

The problem with "choppy TX audio" appears to be the attributable to my
voice characteristics and the frequency response of the Heil
MH2.  Tonight, while experimenting with the K2/100 trying to find SSB
settings that would produce acceptable audio at acceptable power averages,
I tried using my Kenwood microphone, I belileve it's an MC-43S but, since
there is no model number on it, I can't be certain.  The Kenwood
microphone produces BEUTIFUL TX audio, keeps the average output
up at acceptable levels and doesn't exhibit the "clipping" that the MH2
does with my voice.

So, if anyone has the Kenwood microphone that comes with the TS-2000, in
MINT condition that they would like to trade for a Heil MH2 in MINT
condition, I will be happy to do so.
