[Elecraft] K2/100 + KSB2 + MH2 questions

If anyone out there is running a K2/100 + KSB2 + MH2 combo, I am seriously
interested in which settings you use for SSBA and SSBC.  As noted in my
previous post, my K2 requires different amounts of TX audio on different
bands to drive it to "requested power [W]".  As a result, I am having
difficulty with getting my SSB options set up to properly drive the K2.

One thing that I have noticed that *IS* consistant across ALL bands:

If I adjust the K2 SSB options to achieve the same "average" and
"peak" power on Band [N] at requested power [W] as my TS-2000 with on the
same freq with the same requested power and no audio processing, the ALC
on the K2 goes absolutely nuts.  One of two things is happening. (1) The
ALC is completely shutting the power transisters down and then turning
them back on at a VERY fast rate causing what sounds on-air like an
intermittant microphone connection or "choppy audio". (2) The K2 is
flat-topping.

In either case, the result is two fold: (1) Average power is down several
orders of magnitude using the SAME microphone and requested power by
comparison to the TS-2000. (2) The TX audio sounds like poo-poo on the
air.

This is something that I really need to get resolved.  It is almost
certainly an ALC issue but, I could be emphasizing something that doesn't
rear its ugly head with other SSB settings on other K2's.
