Thanks to all who replied to me on zero-beating a CW signal.=20

I finally heard the "whoosh, whoosh, whoosh" or whatever sound you =
want to call it.=20

I tuned in WWV on 15 Mhz, (10 was sort of noisy that day).
Then I turned on the spot switch and slowly tuned for a match of the two =
tones. When I got to the zero-beat, I could definitely hear a rise and =
fall beating of the two signals.
Having a fairly continuous tone of WWV makes it easier.
I believe now I will be able to zero beat a CW signal. It is harder, =
because the CW is not continuous, but if someone is sending fast code =
it's definitely easier.

Thanks especially to Ron for his explanation. Thanks to all of you.
