Maybe, Bill.  But at least you didn't spend all the money to fly to 
Dayton to buy a KPA100 and just miss the last one <grin>.

That's one of the plusses of attending hamfests: Lots of times you get 
first shot at new items, or even special deals.

But I'm not much a conventiioneer and have never been to Dayton (may go, 
some day).  I think the biggest ham event I've been to in the past few 
years is a NorCal QRP Club "meeting"!
