I bought an MC-50 ages ago and replaced the connector with a standard
8-pin. I used it with a TS-430 for years. Still have it. It should work
great with the K2, so long as you jumper the microphone connector for
Kenwood microphones, and select the lo-Z position. (So far, I've used a
Heil BM-10 with my K2, haven't tried the MC-50)
