[Elecraft] Question about KAT2-100

Ohhh.... This would be a *nice touch*... the ability to use the tuner on 
*any* 100 w or smaller ;-) radio.  Perhaps with a "tune" button on the 
front to initiate the process and/or select the band.

Will the upcoming 100 watt autotuner for the K2/100 have a "stand-alone"
mode, or will it only work when talking to the K2's PIC?
