Hi All,   =20
        After applying all the mods designed to rectify my low power =
problem, I managed to squeeze out a further 500mw on 21 MHZ. I now have =
up to 4W out on all bands. The rig is now set to P=3D3 and I've been =
having some fun getting into Europe at this level.
        The KAT1 has been assembled but I observed the dreaded "- - -" =
on powering up. After consulting the trouble shooting guide I am up to =
"checking the PC board for shorts to ground". Can anyone on this list =
suggest which particular points I should check first? Unlike the other =
modules, this one does not have a voltage/resistance chart as part of =
the construction sequence. I have also thought about =
re-heating/re-flowing all solder joints, just in case. Once T1 has been =
installed, what should the resistance checks be between pads 1, 2, 3 & =
4. I get approx 2.3 ohms.
        Looking forward to your responses.
