The size in the MFJ addvert is wrong the one I have is 5.5 x 5.5 x 2.5 in=
ches and will completely fit inside the EC-2 with a lot of room to spare.=
The fan power cord and a 13.8 volt at 5 amps aux connector is on the bac=
k. The front has a pair of binding posts for the 25 amp output, a power s=
witch and LED. You may want to move the power switch to the front of the =
EC-2. If you cut out the EC-2 rear panel so the power supplies rear panel=
is flush with EC-2 then the fan can pull air from holes in the bottom of=
the EC-2 and out the back. I don't think you will even need to remove th=
e cover on the power supply if you remove the rubber feet from the bottom=
. The feet just pop off when a plastic retainer is removed so with no mod=
ifications to the power supply required that can't be reversed. The batte=
ry mounts standing up with the terminals up next to the power supply.

Don, sounds good. Looks as though the 4125 will protrude out the
rear of the EC-2 about 2 inches + ( did I read your plan correctly?)
Seems you wrote something about the 4125 earlier and remarked
about the circuit being different than the other switchers and therefore
quiet. The switchers I have tried all put out a lot of noise. I have a
couple of linear supplies that I built but of course they are heavy and
bulky , but quiet. Would like to do something like you have suggested but
have concerns about the switchers. I was just about to E-M you to see if
you had indeed put the 4125 into the EC-2 yet.
