[Elecraft] Hot K1 and K2 action!!!

A couple of nights ago I was warming up the K1-4 for a shakedown prior to taking it with me on business trip to Europe
when I came across a moderate pileup on 15 meters.  It was for V73BL operating split. I used the RIT to listen for the
stations he was working, found an opening just below the last one, switched to XIT, and sent my call twice.  He
immediately came back with W7DZN 599.  I gave him a genuine 599 and a TU and that was that. No fuss, no muss. (I wish
they were all that easy. HI!)

A few nights previous I was operating my K2 and extolling its virtues to Curt K7OQ during a 40m CW Q when we were joined
by Rob N6KIX, Davis CA, on another K2 who enthusiastically chimed in on the K2's many positive attributes.  Not 3
minutes later, Fred W5YA, Santa Fe NM, jumped on the bandwagon with yet another K2.  Either Curt is going to buy a K2 or
he is totally disgusted by our slavering over our K2s and never wants to hear another.
