It's true, Ron: the new code speeds up encoder reading dramatically so
that you can spin the VFO knob and have it easily keep up. 

The new firmware will be shipped with all new K2s, and the K2/100, and
the KPA100 integration kit, and beyond that will be available as an upgrade.
