I have used an RM-35 for many years and still do.  But I also have had 
the Astron switcher (SS-30M) for four years and find it to be a great 
performer and noise free.  It is a good match to the K2/100 in that it 
is small and weighs only 5 lb or so.  I've recently freed it up for use 
with the K2/100, but it has been my primary HF QRO power supply for four 
years.

I *believe* the kit comes with the external fuse and fuse holder, as 
well as  #12 wire for running to the power supply.
