Hi, Dave...

For the kind of thing you're doing, the K2 is hard to beat and the fun of
QRP is impossible to beat. However, for example... I lived in Texas until
eight years ago when we moved to New Mexico. Every Sunday morning for the
past eight years I've had an hour-long QSO with old friends in TX. Once in
a great while, QRM is such that I go to 1500 watts. Although I've talked to
them on the K2, it usually makes for very rough copy on their end. So, as
much as I love my K2, I'll never be without a QRO rig for specific-station,
point-to-point communication when it is needed. The question is, after I
get my KPA-100, will the Icom 756PRO stay or go?? :-)
