[Elecraft] K2/100 Lives

Made my first (perhaps the first) K2/100-K2/100 QSO Monday morning with W6CYX. This is the original K2 plus the new Completion Kit that adds a 100w amp in a new top cover. Same form factor as before, same great QSK. Bob's rig sounded perfect with the amp. I hope mine sounds the same.

I now have about 90 QSOs in about 25 countries, all continents except SA, with the pre-Field Test K2/100. Many barefoot at 60-100w depending on SWR; many were driving an ACOM 1000 amp, still with clean QSK. The rig will be a super expedition radio and beats many "fancier" radios hands-down as a home station rig. Mine and several others will be OTA from 6Y2A with Team Vertical in the CQ WPX CW contest later this month.
