Paul I reversed the torrid leads on my OHR WM1 and it read forward power
in the reverse setting and reverse power in the forward setting. 73,

Subject: [Elecraft] T1 on KAT2

> I have just got the stage of setting the bridge null adjustment (C55) and
am only getting HI on the display. Putting a DVM probe on U1 Pin 4 shows
that the REFL voltage goes between 2.4 and 6.4v as C55 is adjusted. I have
checked out the components around the SWR bridge (all ok) and have checked
for bad soldering around T1 - all ok. However, I notice that I have
installed T1 "upside down" ie leads 2 and 4 come from the underside of the
toroid and 1 and 3 come from the topside. I suspect that this is cause of
my problems. However, before I dismantle T1, would anyone like to confirm
that this indeed is my problem.

do the flattening mod and to work out why the current readings are low,
otherwise all ok. Once the ATU is done, aim to have my first HF QSO. Then
it will be a fight with my 8 year old son (M3DPW) as to who gets to use it!
