The reason there is a Mic connector on the front is to make it easy to =
do PSK-31. I don't know why they don't call it a PSK connector, tho.
Anyhow, my paddle goes to a 3.5 mm stero splitter. The splitter is =
plugged into the rear, just where the keyer would go. The other =
connector of the splitter goes to a straight key (both are Benchers). =
There's actually enough room inside the stero jack for the 2 diodes. So, =
I can grab the paddle for the inevitable eight dits (or nine dits and a =
dah) but try to get my straight key to go over 15 wpm without hurting =
other hams. It's pretty neat, and I wouldn't want all that krap sticking =
out the front of the rig. I'd bust it.
