Another K2 on the air #2536.

Finished tuning up last assembly. Hard to do the receiver tuning for the 
non-80,40,20,15 with my old rig. I have a Daiwa CN-101L SWR/wattmeter which 
has a low power (15Watt) setting and it was ideal for tuning the 
transmitter into a dummy load.

I made my first contact this morning with KD6DKC. He was in Merced running 
a TenTec Scout at 50Watts. Got a 599 report from him running 10 watts power 
into a dipole. Nice QSO.

I don't recall how many hours it took to build. I got it in late February 
and built it off and on. My son, KG6JFX, help enormously. What he lacked 
with experience he made up for with eagle eyes.

The kit had only part missing and I wrecked a relay with an errant 
soldering iron. A good magnifying glass was probably the most useful tool 
for construction.
