[Elecraft] K1 Resistance Check Problem

I got to the first resistance check point for the RF board of my K1.  =
All was OK except for the resistance from P1 pin 8 to ground.  The =
manual says the resistance should be > 100 k.  I get 3.4 ohms using a =
DMM.  I checked reversing the probes of the DMM and got the same =
reading.  I have checked and rechecked looking for solder bridges, long =
component leads, etc. with no luck.  This check relates to the 6R/AUX =
line so I gradually removed components from that line to try to isolate =
the problem and to rule out each component as the source of the problem. =
 At this point the only component left on the board on that control line =
is P1 itself.  I still get a measurement of 3.4 ohms.  Any thoughts?
