[Elecraft] Elecraft Awards.... Ready, Set, GO!

The Elecraft Centry Club and Elecraft Worked All States achievement
awards have been approved by Eric and Wayne and are ready to go. Eric
promises to have a copy of the awards (jpeg), Excel Spread Sheets and
Rules at the Elecraft web site (www.elecraft.com) sometime Friday evening
(3/29/02). The certificates are serialized and printed in color on 8.5 x
11 inch white paper, suitable for framing. Special THANKS to Jim, N5IB
for his efforts on the award design.

Here are the requirements to earn these awards:

Starting Date: Whenever you get your K1 or K2 (retroactive).
Honor System: No QSLs are required (please don't send me any).
Application Forms: None required, however Excel Spread Sheets are
available on the Elecraft web site for your convenience. You can download
these or make your own.

NOTE... Contacts on one award may be used on the other awards.



Elecraft Worked All States
Work all 50 United States of America using your K1 and/or K2 transciever.
The other station does not need to be using an Elecraft rig.

Submit a list of States, Calls and what rigs you and the other station
were using. Please sort the list by state in alphabetical order.

   e.g. (k6iii uses his K2 to work kg4big who is using a Tentec xcvr in
Kentucky)
         log: k6iii/k2 kg4bih/Tentec on the Kentucky entry line.

        (later, k6iii uses his K1 and works k7fd who is on a k2 in
Oregon)
         log: k6iii/k1 k7fd/k2 on the Oregon entry line.



Elecraft Centry Club
Work 100 other Elecraft equipted stations with your K1 and/or K2.

Submit a list showing each station's Elecraft transciever model, Serial
numbers, Operator's Call and First Name.
   e.g.  (k6iii works n6kr)
          log: k6iii/k2/500  n6kr/k1/1 Wayne

         (later, k6iii uses his K1 and works k7fd who is using a K2)
          log: k6iii/k1/123 k7fd/k2/586 John



All submission are received only by post (not email) and to go to the
Awards Manager:

Fee: There is a $2 fee, cash or check payable to 'Jerry Bliss', to cover
expenses for each award. DX applicants should provide 2 IRC. Please do
not contact Elecraft with any awards correspondence; address these issues
to the Awards Manager ([email protected]).

Please provide a Return Address (and label, if convenient) and include a
email address if available. The certificate(s) will be returned in a
large document size envelope.
