[Elecraft] KSB2 - Quesiton regarding XFIL FL2

I just finished assembling and installing my KSB2, right up to the 
intital test. (It worked great)

In looking ahead at the configuration instructions, I noticed that Table 
3 has a set of suggested filter and BFO settings.

Why does Elecraft suggest that FL2 repeat the OP1 choice for SSB? If only 
two filter width choices are desired, why not just set FL1 to OP1, FL2 to 
1.8 and FL3 and FL4 to OFF?

What's the reasoning behind the repeat?
