[Elecraft] K1 four band boards and 80m?

Some time ago, Wayne and Bruce (N7RR) commented on it being possible to use
the 80m band in a four band board provided only 3 bands are used. Here in
the UK, 40m on a night is hard work with 80m being the best for working
around the UK. During the middle of the day, 40m is the best. The four band
board currently doesn't officially support 80m in any form.

Since trying a K1 at the recent Junction 28 QRP mini-convention yesterday,
I'm getting the building fever again and need something like a K1 to keep
away the shivers... The only irritation is the choice of bands for
portable/camping use in the UK and I would really like 80m and more than two
bands (and not wishing to swap boards in the field).

Has anyone modified a four band board for 80m and is it workable?
