Bob Kempter, WA7WJA, posted a tip on using a paper clip to wind toroids...
well I just got around to trying it...and boy oh boy I wish I'd tried it
at the start of my K2...it really takes the frustration out of winding
toroids...it also eliminates crossing one winding over another during
the process; which was a favourite "trick" of mine while winding...as Bob
said, it's faster, easier and no kinks in the wire...

...can someone give me the url for the archives for this list please so I
can pull Bob's posting up and forward it on to others...I'd like not to
have to type the whole message out...OR...maybe someone who still has this
