If you're looking for a very compact antenna you might give consideration to

While they're single band and somewhat finicky to get set up properly once
dialed in they seem to work pretty well for their size. Otherwise I would
think their size is 'just right' for portable ops (especially the 20mtr and
above ones). I have a 20mtr in my attic and it does the job much better than
I would have ever expected.
