[Elecraft] mounts

Hi,

I would like to mount a future K2 in my 1988 Dodge Shadow.  I like the
ball and joint type.  Where can I get extenders??  How is the gooseneck
for supporting the weight of the K2 with all options except for the PA?? 
Has anyone done any of this for the car that I own?
