I should hope that the cig lighter in your vehicle will provide more than
enough current to run your K2.  In my Tahoe, I have 30A cig lighters but,
I realize that some vehicles don't.  I'm quite certain that the real
"lighter" pulls more than 5Amps so, your K2 should be fine.
