If you are patient, you can score a Tektronix 465 (100 MHz dual trace) =
on eBay for under a C-note. I think mine was $65. It's a real nice =
'scope if you don't have to carry it around too much.

Subject: [Elecraft] KB7OEX: help re oscilloscope
Hi folks -=20
I have decided to tackle David Rutledge's The Electronics of Radio in
conjunction with building a Norcal 40A. The book is structured around
building the Norcal. I've built my K1 and K2, but I really want to get
down to the nitty-gritty and understand more about how things work.=20
A 50Mhz oscilliscope is needed to do some of the problems in the book.
Can someone suggest the cheapest source for a scope that would fit the
bill? The book mentions a Teltronix 2215A, but that kind of money is way
out of my league. I do have a functioning old Heathkit Model 10-105 that
I got for $25 on a whim many months back - but it looks like the
bandwidth is 15Mhz (I think - each channel circuit is described as dc to
15MHz wide-band amplifiers - but I don't know enough yet about
oscilloscopes hi hi).
Anybody have an idea? Thanks as always.=20
