[Elecraft] K2 Firmware wishlist entry

Wayne and Eric:

One of the things that I would like to see in the next revision of the
firmware is the capability to enter an "error offset" on a per band
basis.  While aligning K2 #2490 for SSB, I did manage to get LSB and USB
sounding nearly identical on 80m-20m.  On 30m-10m I noticed that the skew
between the two became more pronounced and in addition, LSB on 10m had
carrier.  Modulating the signal, I found that not only was there carrier
but that the K2 was about .20 off frequency.  If I zero-beat the carrier,
my voice didn't sound like I was on helium on the monitoring receiver.

Since the firmware has an "offset" function for transverter use, I would
imagine that it would be possible to do the same thing on a band-by-band
basis for non-transverter use to cause the dial indication to be true on
bands that have some error.

Just a suggestion.
