This problem in the K2 is often traced to the fact that the trimmers, as
they come from the factory, often require 'seating'. The rotors do not make
good (or any) electrical contact until they are spun around a number of
times. You might try that on the K1. Turn each one of them a dozen or more
times around, then try the alignment again.
Once they make contact, they are then stable and offer no problem. It is NOT
a sign of a bad trimmer, just one that has been freshly manufactured and is
not properly "worked in".
