You said to "edit out 95% of the original post". If this is done, then =
the sense of the thread is lost on readers who don't recall the question =
from a few days ago. Is there really a bandwidth issue in posting 2K vs. =
300 bytes? I don't think so. Disk space and IP Bandwidth are so =
inexpensive now days, I'd lean more towards encouraging leaving the =
thread intact. Just don't place the "new stuff" at the end. Put it at =
the top. Don't read beyond where it is interesting.

In fact, I have customer's who have specifically requested no <snip>'s. =
Then, if someone else needs the thread, a single forward brings them =
completely up to speed.

Of course, that is MY customer, and this is YOUR list. I'll do it your =
way, but I think we are being penny wise and dollar foolish.
