[Elecraft] K2 CW filter "blow by" solution

Mark WQ7X  has detailed a mod to his K2 to reduce filter blow by involving soldering
a copper plate over the filter crystal area.  Since this blow by has apparantly not
been noticed by others, I wonder if the real reason is failure to remove all the
areas of green masking from the case panels, resulting in poor screening of the box.
Some of this green tape is easy to miss (I missed it the first time).  And why is
there no masking tape on the holes at the top of the box which mate with the top
cover?

I cannot check the performance of my K2 on receive yet - part two testing is still a
few days away, but I will check the performance when I get there.
