[Elecraft] Assembly Suggestion

I recently received my K1 kit for a Father's Day gift and have assembled
most of the filter board and front panel.  I encountered difficulty
soldering
the display DS1 to the board in that I touched with the soldering iron body
and the top of S3 is rather strange looking now...  The cap almost fits
after some extended re-shaping with the iron but, I will have to replace the
switch for it to work properly.

As a suggestion for this portion of the assembly, I would recommend the
instruction to mount the potentiometers, R2 and R3 be moved and that
their installation be done AFTER DS1 is installed and soldered.  They
(R2 & R3) seem to present quite an obstacle for soldering DS1's lower
pins and if those were not in the way, I feel the lower side of DS1 would
be much easier to solder and R2 and R3 can just as easily be installed
right after DS1 is completed.

Other than this suggestion I view as an accomodation for us old guys
who aren't quite as "nimble" with a soldering tool as we once were, I am
thoroghly delighted with the K1 kit and am enjoying the smell of rosin
core solder smoke in the air.... :)
