Well due to Stupid Builder Mistakes(tm) it is going to take longer than
anticpated to become QRO with my K2.  I have to wait for replacements for
Q3, Q4 and R27 (already being shipped, thank you Lisa & Scott).

I guess I was distracted operating 1D during Field Day while installing
Q3 & Q4 on the KPA100 PC board and managed to form the leads too close to
the body of the transistors.  Last night while test fitting the board to
the heat sink prior to installing the power transistors and other few
final components I noticed that the mounting holes for the above two
transistors did not align with the screw holes in the pedestal.  They
were off by about 1/16 inch, too much to try and force into alignment
without risk of damage to either the transistors, the heat sink
(stripping threads) or both.  The aluminum heat sink is fairly soft and
it would not take much to strip the threads in the screw holes.  

The other problem was melting a portion of the top of trimmer pot R27
while soldering contact 2 of the large binnocular core for T2.  It would
still turn but needed pliers rather than a screw driver.  I figured this
would make alignment difficult at best and so a new one was in order.

I clipped the old components and carefully removed the pins and solder in
preparation for the replacement parts.  In the meantime I can prepare the
K2 and make up the RS-232 cable while waiting for the parts.

I guess Mojo only works for QSOs.
