[Elecraft] Re: K2 #2650 Works A-OK !

To The Entire Elecraft Team:

This past week-end, I completed K2 #2650 ... All
through the assembly process, every resistance=20
check and test was "nominal" ... I have made several
CW QSOs and am still just amazed that, even after
more than 33 years since I put a major kit together
(Heathkit SB-101 and all station accessories), the
K2 works in every respect ... I've assembled the
KAF2 and KAT2 and will install them soon ...

My sincerest thanks and congratulations to the
Elecraft team ... I enjoyed kit-building again! And
since I was already a QRP enthusiast, I can't wait
to do all those QRP things (like mountain topping,
campground and vacation portable ops) again ...

I also want to compliment Mychael Morohovich
("The Toroid Guy") for the high-quality job he does
in supplying pre-made toroids ... I smiled every time
I slid another one out of its envelope and inserted
it into the K2 and the KAT2 ... I hope he is geared-up
for the 100W amp!

I have never lost my love for CW/QRP/DX ops, but
I will now enjoy those activities even more with
the K2 that I purchased at the Dayton Hamvention ...
