Check the frequency calibrtion accuracy of the FT-707 on WWV.  If it is
accurate, it can be used as an adjunct when doing K1 frequency

You can use it along with the FT-707 to set it to the frequency desired. 
An RF probe/DMM can be used to set its output to the level desired while
it is plugged into the K1 antenna input..

My RF probe (a Heathkit model PK-3), modified to be the exact same
circuit as described in the Elecraft manual, would not work properly with
my el cheapo DMM.  RF voltages would read only about 25% of expected. 
With a better DMM (with a 10-meg input impedance in its specs), the
measurements I now make are more in line with Elecraft's expected values.
